Thérèse is a counseling intern at TNC. She is a graduate student at Grace College
pursuing a master’s degree in mental health counseling, expected in May 2025, and will then work towards licensure as a licensed professional counselor in CT.
Thérèse takes a holistic approach to therapy, integrating her experience in holistic wellness andrecognizing that healing and growth occur when individuals experience safety, security, and unconditional acceptance in their relationships. This comprehensive perspective allows her to guide clients toward wholeness. She is especially focused on working with individuals who have experienced abuse and trauma.
Thérèse has a heart for supporting others and being a compassionate companion for them as they walk through life’s challenges. After years counseling clients in holistic health and wellness, she decided to return to school to pursue a deeper desire which was to work in the field of mental health counseling. Thérèse will begin her training in EMDR this year, with a goal of integrating this trauma intervention into her work with clients.

Hobbies: I enjoy spending time with family, being out in nature, music, good food, and my dog! Faith and family are my priorities. Additionally, I enjoy integrating holistic wellness interventions into daily life.
