The Neurovation Center is committed to working together with like-minded health care providers and health-focused organizations to provide top-quality services resulting in real and enduring change. We launched the Connectivate network to activate connections that innovate solutions – all with the goal of getting the best outcomes possible. (It helps we’re centered in Connecticut!)
Each Connectivate partner shares TNC’s commitment to these Aspirational Values:
Hope
We will advocate for actual change leading to a better life. We are not satisfied with letting our clients remain in a painful, frustrating, or paralyzing status quo. We strive to inspire others toward a realistic and achievable experience of personal growth, healing, and relational connectedness.
Healing
We believe that our services change lives. We are devoted to seeing actual change – not mere coping, managing, or handholding. We seek to be innovators in the field of mental health, embracing what works – both the “old” and the “new” – to achieve increasingly and consistently excellent outcomes for our clients. We are committed to the goal of curing mental health issues.
Wholeness
We want our clients to find the kind of life they want. We cannot create a satisfying life for clients, but we can help level the playing field and give clients an opportunity to flourish. We are convinced our clients are special – each one is intrinsically valuable and deserves the opportunity to live life fully. Our clients are overcomers and innovators.
Connectivate means finding new and better ways to get results.
Our Partners are committed to outcomes. We use techniques that are both effective and enduring, whether established or emerging.
Connectivate advances a new standard for mental wellness.
Our Partners do not want for our clients merely to cope with or cover their symptoms. Our Goal is to cure them.
Connectivate promotes collaboration as the best form of competition.
When we work together toward a common goal, everyone wins. Our Partners actively make referrals to get the best outcomes.
We are assembling a Team that promotes the most significant and basic elements of mental health recovery and wellness. Each of these elements is interconnected.
Mental Health
Nutrition and Diet
Over 80% of all neurotransmitters are produced in your gut, and 20-25% of all glucose is used to power your brain. What you eat - and what your body lacks - affects brain function and can have a dramatic impact on mental health.
Exercise
Regular workouts - including strength, endurance and flexibility training - reduces stress, improves sleep, enhances brain function, increases self-confidence, and adds to the overall quality and longevity of life.
Hydration
Blood flow and volume is crucial for every element of brain function. Low water and electrolytes reduces both. Dehydration is one of the most nefarious and overlooked culprits affecting mental health.
Sleep
The vast majority of people with insomnia are undiagnosed and unaware of just how much sleep deprivation debilitates. Poor habits, sleep disorder, or dysregulated EEG affects sleep and exacerbates mental health issues.
Connectivate members are our allies in mental health treatment.
We network with them to serve you better, and we encourage you to reach out to any you feel might further your progress!
