MEET OUR TEAM!
Jeffrey J. Schutz
MA, MA, LMFT, BCN, ORD
LMFT, Senior Neurofeedback Clinician,
Owner and Executive Director
Jeff is the counselor you go to when you’ve tried couple counseling before and it went nowhere. He’s also the therapist you want if you desire the deeper, more intimate, more fulfilling marriage that is worth a lifetime together. Jeff’s goal is to bring about change – real, deep and meaningful. Fun and engaging, he finds a way to get to the heart of relational problems and then “unstuckify” the nasty patterns of reactivity, resentment and poor communication that seem to grow faster than weeds in any relationship.
He is a specialist on counseling couples and families with a special needs child (he himself was a “special ops dad” before his oldest son Joel passed away in 2016), and he has fallen into a seldom identified area of expertise of helping people heal who have been wounded by a person with a personality disorder. As an ordained and licensed pastor, Jeff enjoys (upon request) challenging Christians to grow in their faith by applying biblical principles to everyday relationship dynamics.
Jeff is an accomplished speaker, having over 20 years of public speaking experience, both nationally and internationally, equally as comfortable in acacdemic / conference settings as he is in small round-table discussions. His counseling passion is to see couples experience deep satisfaction across the lifespan, and towards this end he has developed his own therapeutic modality and seminar materials that focus on enhancing the “relational triumvirate” of Love, Sex and Intimacy in marriage.
Jeff is the Founder and Executive Director of The Neurovation Center, which is one of the largest and most advanced neurofeedback and neuroanalysis providers in the Northeast. He has pioneered integrative techniques for assessing and integrating neuroanalysis and neurofeedback into mental healthcare. To date, he has personally supervised well over half of every certified Neurofeedback
Clinician in the State of Connecticut (and counting) and is sought after as a neurofeedback trainer and speaker.
He is also a self-proclaimed “out of the closet nerd,” who loves nothing more than spending time with his wife, Laurie, and his kids, Josh, Nicole and Amber. Strategic wargaming, assembling and converting miniatures, watching soccer, and reading sci-fi / fantasy books are his things to “chillax.” (Feel free to chat 40k any time. And yes, he reads every copy of White Dwarf magazine found in the reception area, cover to cover.)

She started at TNC in 2013 and is a Board Certified Neurofeedback Clinician – Associate Fellow as well as Board Certified as a QEEG-Diplomate. Lindsay also completed her Master’s degree in Psychology from California Southern University receiving highest honors, Summa Cum Laude. She has been trained by world-leaders in EEG/QEEG and has analyzed thousands of EEGs while working at TNC. Lindsay has extensive experience in designing individualized neurofeedback protocols and is trained in the use of multiple neurofeedback modalities including QEEG-guided, Z-score, sLORETA, conventional, and the arousal model.
Director of Office Administration
Jason keeps TNC running well and smoothly on the business end of things. If you have any questions about your insurance coverage, charges, or other matters related to finances or clarifying details of your healthcare plan, he’s the guy to talk to. And don’t hesitate to ask him anything – Jason is approachable, a great listener, and always available to take care of you and your concerns. He’s a wealth of insurance information, able to find / work out most insurance questions (if in fact there is an answer to be found!) and a wonderful person to talk to when it comes to the “unfortunate” part of treatment (that is, the cost of it!).
Since starting at TNC in January of 2016, Jason has been integrally involved in the formulation and integration of policies and procedures throughout the organization. He directly oversees the administrative staff at TNC, and he has also a key role in the development of administrative processes and procedures. In 2016, Jason transitioned the organization from paper files to a Practice Management/EHR system and set TNC up for all in-house insurance processing and payment.
Jason is currently working on completing his Master of Business Administration degree to enhance his ability to assist with further organizational growth and development at TNC. While not at TNC, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, taking long hikes, and exploring new places. He also considers himself to be a food fanatic and, rumor has it, he can eat several boxes of (fresh and warm) Krispy Kreme donuts in one sitting.
PHD, MA, LMFT, AAMFT Approved Supervisor, EMDRIA Certified EMDR Clinician
Clinical Director of Therapeutic Services,
Senior Trauma Clinician
Diana is one of the most experienced trauma therapists you will find. Period. She is devoted to giving hope, healing and help to individuals, couples and families suffering from complex trauma. Her breadth of knowledge in integrating various trauma-focused techniques means that Diana has a wealth of resources to address trauma with skill and grace. She has the cultivated ability to keep an eye on her client’s tolerance of painful memories and triggers while balancing humor, authenticity and encouragement to calm the emotional storms.
Diana is a highly certified and well regarded professional in the field of trauma counseling. She is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and is an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Clinician and Supervisor. Dr. Mille has previously served as Visiting Professor at Fairfield University, Fairfield, CT., where she taught Assessment, Couples, Research, Internship and Human Sexuality and has worked as a LMFT and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) trauma therapist at Collaborative Counseling Group, Trumbull, CT., Fairfield Counseling Services, Fairfield, CT., and St. Vincent’s Behavioral Services, Intensive Outpatient, Bridgeport, CT.
As a full member of EMDRIA, EMDR International Association and clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and the International Family Therapy Association (IFTA), Dr. Mille has regularly presented at the International Family Therapy Association Conferences since 2009 and has authored and co-authored articles in multiple journals. Diana holds a PhD in Art History from City University of New York and taught on this topic at Fairfield University, Fairfield, CT, for over 20 years. Her transition from Art Historian to Marriage and Family Therapist was a natural segue for her – art, to Diana, is one of the most powerful means of a culture to express and explore the challenges encountered while on the human psychological odyssey. How much poorer would our grasp of that odyssey be without Munch’s Scream or Toni Morrison’s Beloved? Art reflects and expands upon psychological experience, and it incarnates enduring philosophical – and religious – ideas for individuals to grasp and embrace.
